Everything you need to go from a fresh account to your first finished wrap — about 10 minutes.
Open the account menu in the top navigation and register with a username, email and password. Your account stores your designs, credit balance and gallery posts. Registration is free — credits are only spent when you use the Pro AI generator.
Open AI Create. Every Tesla body style has its own official wrap template (a flat PNG that the car maps onto its 3D model), so choosing the right variant is the most important step. Model Y alone has five templates — original, 2025+ Standard, Premium, Performance, and Model Y L. Unsure which one you have? In the AI Generate panel describe the look you want (up to 500 characters) — for example: sunset gradient racing livery, orange to purple fade. Optionally add up to 3 reference images for style and pick a color preference.
Two engines are available. Free AI runs entirely in your browser via Puter — no account or credits needed. Pro AI (GPT Image) runs on our server, follows the car template layout precisely, and costs 10 credits per generation. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
Prefer full control? The manual editor has layers, opacity, rotation and free drawing. Export produces an installation-ready PNG sized for Tesla Toybox Paint Shop (512–1024 px per side, under 1 MB, PNG with transparency, filename up to 30 characters). The built-in PNG checker on our Paint Shop page validates your file before you copy it to a USB stick.
Copy the exported PNG to a USB stick, plug it into your Tesla, and open Toybox → Paint Shop to apply it as your wrap. If the file does not show up, re-check the size, dimensions and filename rules — Paint Shop silently skips invalid files.
Toggle Share to Gallery before generating (or later from My Generations) to publish your wrap to the public gallery. Your credit balance is shown in the AI panel; buy more credits any time from the Buy Credits dialog — payments are handled by Stripe.
